pl adwise how can we customarise default location values: 'choose country' to 'choose state', 'choose state/region' to 'choose district'.  changes are made in syedassociates.co.cc, pl advise how.

Dear you need to install database for it , it will install when you install this script and zip file oflocation values is about 23mb and it will take 15 min to install on local system or in webserver.

Sorry for the Delay, I look here after a long time, its rather very easy but time consuming..
First look in the foler (c bases) u have found 281 zip files, they all are countries and cities, u've to find the country of ur choice, i do it by extracting all zip files and find pakistan in 185_01 and 185_02 files, when u extract u find sql files, open in wordpad or word if file is bigger or open in notepad if file is shorter.
You have to manually add or subtract cities in it as this database is very huge and lots of cities and towns in it which are no use. and finally i made my own list and rezip it with the same name and install the country from admin, voila i got my listed country and cities installed in the script.

again i said it is time consuming job, it took me around a full day to reaarange my choice of cities. One more thing
If you need to add a place u want to, u have to place its lattitude and longitude, as u will see in sql file, I earlier describe. How U find it, Best place google maps where i took them if I didn't found my city in db, there is an app which can extract lat and long from gmaps, which i found googling around, sorry i forgot the name, cause its more than 2 months i last used it, if u need it i'll serch it and post link here. pls give me a day...

Hey Wait I Found it the Link for Finding location's lat and long from gmaps

In this U see gmap, once u have to set the city or location manually, then set it to the center of the map, and find its lat and long on the bottom,where it says
Latitude/Longitude at map center: xx.xxxxxx / xx.xxxxxx where xx is the value you need to put in the city or location value.



For Example
INSERT INTO [db_prefix]country_spr VALUES (185,'Pakistan',0)
INSERT INTO [db_prefix]region_spr VALUES (2604,185,'Federally Administered Tribal Areas')
INSERT INTO [db_prefix]city_spr VALUES (1084194,185,'Bagh','','',2604,33.8030556,70.9386111)

33.8030556,70.9386111, here first is latitude and second is longitude and 'Bagh' its the location name u have to put it manually.
Confusing but it is done this way

i have changed only one file: default_select.xml.  althrough i have not checked the results.  http://www.pilotgroup.net/support/knowledge/ is very useful.  actually i want to use the script to sell construction material.  it needs many changes.
