There is lots of people that they only make mirrors, they dont even give this site something new. I think, if someone uses this great site, if they find whatever they want to find, they have to also publish something, so that they can deserve to download something.

My oppinion is that, you should a little bit force the people to publish NEW THINGS in this site, so that

site will be more active, more new scripts, more visitor. What you can do is that, disable the comments and force people to publish something new rather then just publishing mirrors. And if someone wants to publish something, there must be rule like: at least 2 or 3 different mirrors. Dont allow to people who publishes something via only 1 link. Just want 2 or 3 mirrors, and disable comments. So that like PBI said, we dont have to wait so lng to download another link...

mirrors keep the file alive on many hosts to along time so whin auser come from search engine searching for a file onthis site he can get it from live mirrors

but any new post get many mirror in few seconds so the publisher loss traffic for his links

and he work for his post to get traffice to his links its all bessness

By the way, to the user that's posting using 2 different nicknames (you know who you are), sharing on any warez/illegal-sharing website is about keeping the scene alive, not about trying to make a living ($) from downloads. Have fun, share your files... those "cents" paid by file hosts are just an extra and shouldn't be your main motivation to share.

Bottom line is this.

Those in favor of hiding all mirrors are most likely people who share their stuff here ONLY with a purpose of making money out of it.

And those in favor of allowing all mirrors are mostly frustrated downloaders who are sick and tired of seeing only one link posted for each new share, and that link being on a timed host like rapidshare or hotfile that makes us wait for an hour before we can download it, or even worse it's filled up with garbage files.

You start hiding mirrors, you'll lose your visitors overnight.

Start monitoring your sharers and posters instead...
