PHP Melody version 1.6
On September 12th, 2009, the phpSugar team released PHP Melody 1.6. The previous release was 1.5.3 however since this is an upgrade and not an update PHP Melody changed digits from 1.5.x to 1.6.
The upgrade to 1.6 has brought many needed changes and the developers extended its functionality making it once again a great video CMS.

o This feature can be enabled/disabled

* new PHP Melody allows the admin to import, upload and retrieve videos. The new version allows the administrator to also paste any embed code from any video/audio site.
* new PHP Melody 1.6 is now translated in 15 languages: Albanian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Swedish and Turkish.
* new 'Original player' support allows the administrator to display any video in their original video player.
* new Windows media video (WMV) support. The WMV videos can be hosted locally or remotely.
* new QuickTime (MOV) videos support. The QuickTime videos can be hosted locally or remotely.
* new Support for the latest version of JW Player. Flowplayer can be swapped with JW Player at any time.
